Sharing the recipe for this Rainbow Bowl, which I Sharing the recipe for this Rainbow Bowl, which I had for dinner the other night! This bowl has all the major food groups and tastes delicious, too 😋. This is a recipe for those who don’t like to measure (like me 🙋🏻‍♀️), but if you’re looking for more specific guidance on how I made each component, DM me and I’d be happy to help ☺️. Enjoy!

Friendly reminder that it’s never okay to comment Friendly reminder that it’s never okay to comment on someone else’s body. There is literally *nothing* good that can come from it (seriously, nothing!). You never know what someone may be going through👇🏻
🤰Pregnancy and Postpartum - these are both incredibly vulnerable periods for women. I can attest to the fact that women are thinking enough about their bodies during this time. They don’t need outside reminders about how “well they are carrying” or questions like “are you sure there’s just one in there?” Comments like these can make women feel insecure, uncomfortable and potentially worried about the health of their baby. It’s just not worth it! And while we are on this topic, if you’re not sure if someone is pregnant, it’s NEVER okay to ask! If someone wants you to know they’re expecting they will tell you 👍🏻. Commenting on a woman’s body postpartum can enforce “bounce back” culture, which is something that is definitely not needed postpartum (there is enough stress as is 😅).
🤍 Eating Disorders - many clients share with me that even well meaning comments like “you look so healthy” can challenge ED recovery. The eating disorder often interprets these comments as thinking the other person is saying they gained weight, which further fuels the eating disorder. Nothing good can come from this well-intentioned comment. The best thing to say is a plain and simple “It’s great to see you!” or something that does not call attention to their body.
🏃🏽‍♂️Weight Loss or Weight Gain - there’s no way to know by looking at someone what has caused their weight loss. Maybe they are experiencing grief or illness or another trauma, or maybe they have an eating disorder. Commenting on the fact that they lost weight can send the message that appearance is more important than their well-being. Commenting on weight gain can often make others feel insecure and uncomfortable. There’s no need to comment on either one!
🍎Dieting - Dieting is often a form of disordered eating. By commenting on someone’s body when they’re on a diet you are quite literally enforcing disordered eating behaviors.
😎 Comment on how happy you are to see someone rather than on how they look!
