Do you relate to these symptoms? That’s because 1200 calories is the amount recommended for a toddler, not a grown woman (despite what MyFitnessPal may say!). You need WAY more than 1200 calories per day to thrive, especially if you are active! Many of my patients are shocked when they hear this. If you’re not eating enough to support your body, you may:
🤓 Find it difficult to focus - this can make it challenging to excel on work, school or build relationships
🏋🏻‍♀️Have a hard time while working out - our bodies use the food we eat to fuel our activities!
😴Feel tired often - food gives us energy!

With Passover approaching, I wanted to share some tips on how to combat #constipation, as matza can be very constipating! Keep your digestive tract happy by staying hydrated, getting in some movement (walking and stretching count!), eating fiber-filled foods and perhaps having some caffeine if it’s a healthy choice for you!
